Manolis Kalomiris

Manolis Kalomiris (1883-1962) was a prominent Greek composer and conductor, often regarded as a key figure in the development of modern Greek classical music. He is best known for his contributions to the genre of Greek nationalism in music, often integrating traditional Greek folk elements into his compositions. Kalomiris studied in Austria and Germany, where he was influenced by the European classical tradition.
